and Bathtub Walls: Presented By: Mark Hunter, Hunter Plumbing For our September meeting, long time Westcon member, Mark Hunter will discuss some of the construction details and conditions found at the intersection of connections of bathtub and shower walls to the various types of shower pans and bathtubs currently being installed. Mr. Hunter’s presentation will include discussion and photographic examples illustrating numerous problems that occur at the intersection and joining of materials in walls with tubs and pans in bathing and showering areas. A variety of typical materials and installation techniques will be presented and discussed along with the particular problems that can occur with these materials when not used properly.Portions of this information have been used by Mr. Hunter in presentations to Insurance carriers, in an effort to provide education and insight into this problem. There will be a number of points of discussion that will be sure to create lively interaction and varying opinions. The audience is encouraged to participate and bring differing points of view to share with the group.
