Metal flashings are seldom well understood by members of the construction industry, resulting in miss-applications, leaks and wind damage. In the 2010 Westcon Symposium, a group of industry leaders will attempt to bring clarity to sheet metal flashings, their uses, functions, code requirements, what is covered by principle industry publications, advantages and disadvantages of different metals, and how to integrate them into assemblies.
