| Project Collaboration
and Management:
On Time, On Budget
Presented By: Hermann Novak
Founder and Principal,
Bayridge Group, Inc.
The
goal in construction is to complete the project on time and on budget. When
this inherently difficult goal is achieved, the success can be attributed to
the effective scheduling and managing of all the architectural, engineering,
financial and construction components of the project. Effective people
management, meticulous planning, the right strategy, and ethical decisions are
all vital parts of a successful project management team. An experienced project
or construction manager can even find synergies among the project components,
using creative ways to get more done in less time using less money, all without
sacrificing quality. An important part of a manager’s value is the ability to
start and maintain effective communications with professional service providers
as well as qualified contractors who share his or her values of honesty,
integrity, innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship.
At
our May dinner meeting, one of Westcon’s newer members, Hermann Novak,
President of the Bayridge Group, Inc. will be discussing the strategy in
accomplishing this sometimes ominous task of completing the job on time and on
budget. Mr. Novak has established
many sustainable relationships with many multi-dwelling managers, community
mangers, corporate clients, developers and construction companies and will
leverage this pool of talent for your commercial or HOA project. The reputation
of Bayridge Group as a reliable Architecture, Environmental, Construction (AEC)
consultant, and provider of construction management services, is well
established throughout Northern California.
Mr.
Novak is a certified mediator from The Rosenberg Institute. He entered the
professional world about 25 years ago with a desire to build effective business
teams and make a contribution to multi-dwelling communities as well as both
corporate and small business cultures. He has successfully built several
companies, some with worldwide impact.
