| Forensic
Analytical is an analytical laboratory and consulting firm specializing
in the industrial hygiene and environmental health sciences which was founded
in 1986. Forensic Analytical provides specialty consulting and analytical
support to clients as well as providing project support to firms who may
wish to augment in-house capabilities.
The Environmental Services Division provides industrial hygiene and indoor air quality (IAQ) services and has extensive experience in the identification and management of asbestos, lead, mold and other IAQ and compliance issues in industrial and commercial facilities. Asbestos and lead services are provided by consultants and technicians certified by the State of California. The industrial hygiene services of the company are overseen by David Kahane, MPH, CIH, who will be our speaker for May. Mr. Kahane possesses technical expertise in toxins within the built environment, including asbestos, lead, microbials, pesticides and volatile organic compounds. He performs industrial hygiene and indoor air quality investigations, statistical evaluations, experimental design, exposure assessments and litigation support involving building toxins. Mr. Kahane is a frequent lecturer at Universities, professional associations and industry trade groups. He is a current lecturer on asbestos, lead and fungi and the University of California - Berkeley Center for Environmental Management and has too numerous a list of presentations and publications to be listed in this small space.
