MAY MEETING HOW TO GET PAID
|
||
|
No doubt most of us have had difficulty at some time or another collecting our fees for services. For those of you who have questions or problems, our second annual HOW TO GET PAID meeting is one you do not want to miss. With the enthusiasm and experience from last year's presentation as a measure, we can expect to go the whole yardstick this month with WESTCON members Jonathan Bacon and Geoff Wood and, perhaps guest participation from invited insurance carriers. The key to our success last year, which we expect to repeat, was both the quality and quantity of the membership and our dinner participation. So many of our individual problems are of mutual concern and shared by many, that an airing of our billing problems becomes very productive and beneficial. And when we add the expertise on the podium we have created a meeting that will "cost you" - literally and figuratively - to miss. Last year's presentation included valuable information on how and who to contact, the general rules of the Insurance Carriers and the roles and relationships of the expert, attorney and insurance carrier or payer. Mr. Wood and Mr. Bacon also provided examples of good and bad billing techniques and invoice samples. They were able to share accounts of what works and does not work as well as the legal guidelines as to what experts are entitled to and methods of where and how to collect. To encourage the spirit and conviviality, the dinner will include wine
on the tables and a raffle of three bottles of wine selected from business
cards which are presented for the drawing. Also, for this special meeting
we realize many of you will wish to bring members of your office who are
involved in billing as was the case last year. To encourage you to do
so, we are making a special guest fee for this one meeting and will be
charging $15.00 per guest.
