Concrete Floors and Moisture TestingPresented By: Lee Eliseian, President, Independent Floor Testing and Inspection, Inc. APPROVED FOR ONE AIA  LEARNING

Westcon member Lee Eliseian of Independent Floor Testing and Inspection Inc., will be presenting an AIA accredited program on concrete floor coverings and the latest industry standard test methods. This program has been approved for one learning unit for AIA members. At the end of this program, the participants should understand:

• The many causes of concrete floor slab moisture problems
• Industry standards related to testing and preparation of concrete floor slabs
• Testing methods for concrete moisture testing.

Mr. Eliseian will be using a PowerPoint presentation which shows the learning objectives in print and photographs and a printed copy of the presentation will be handed out os participants can make notes and save the information for future reference.

All IFTI Flooring Continuing Education Facilitators have at least 20 years experience in the floor covering industry, are members of the ASTM committee responsible for developing concrete moisture testing methods and are recognized nationwide as authorities in concrete moisture related failures and proper testing methods. Facilitators have been trained on AIA / CES guidelines and presentation skills. In addition, they receive ongoing training on flooring product specifications, and related issues from floor covering and underlayment manufacturers and independent industry experts.

Mr. Eliseian, a licensed C-15 Flooring & Floor Covering contractor, is the acting President and CEO of Independent Floor Testing and Inspection Inc.. IFTI is a nationwide provider of certified diagnostic services focusing specifically on concrete slab moisture & PH testing and floor failure analysis.
